Welcome to the web site of the Blue Feather Alliance!

We are a non-profit organization located in Lakewood, CO. Through this year we have completed several projects, primarily targeting the village of Manderson, South Dakota and the children at the Wounded Knee District School. Manderson is located in Shannon County which has been designated as the poorest county in the United States. We are also involved in ongoing projects that include providing baby items for new mothers, collecting non-perishable foods and small household items, and collecting books, toys, and craft materials for children in Manderson and at the SuAnne Big Crow Boys and Girls Club in Pine Ridge village.

Blue Feather Mission Statement: To honor and serve the people of South Dakota's Pine Ridge Reservation by collecting and distributing food, clothing, and other life necessities.
